2013 Top 100 - Rank # 20
The 2011 Graacher Dromprobst Riesling Spätlese #10 is a stunning wine, the seductive aromas of fresh white peach, lime, stony minerals, cherry blossoms, honeysuckle and salted nut leap from the glass. This has remarkable precision with a gorgeous rich, oily, viscous texture that is elegant, light on its feet and gently caresses your palate. The finish is clean and focused laced with lime zest, fresh minerals and honeysuckle flavors. This is already so delicious and constantly evolves with every second in the glass gaining more and more depth and complexity. I would love to see this beauty again in about 15-20 years after it has a chance to mature in bottle. (Best from 2013-2030) - December, 2013 (JD)
