The 2018 Tierra Roja Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is absolutely stunning in this vintage. It begins with a wonderful combination of incredibly fresh and savory nuances, with aromas including ripe dark cherries and crème de cassis which are laced with graphite, violets, black olives, wet clay, minerals and hints of fresh sage that all emerge from the glass. The palate is full-bodied, round and voluptuous, with outstanding depth and concentration as well as wonderful overall balance. It goes on to impress with its layered and opulent mouthfeel, with a deep core that is laced with ripe dark and red fruits that expands through the long enveloping finish. This is already sensational and might be Tor's most impressive release yet from Tierra Roja.
