This Pinot Noir from the Sangiacomo Vineyard in Sonoma, begins with inviting aromas of ripe raspberries, strawberries, pomegranate seed and red currant, with secondary aromas of dark soil, dried spice, crushed stone and smoke. The palate displays beautiful red berries, plum, spice and wonderful earthy tones. On the palate this is beautifully balanced, with a wonderful combination of elegance and focus through the finish. This is an absolutely delicious bottling that will drink well over the next 5-7 years.
