Spending 18 months in all-neutral French oak barrels, the 2021 Temperance Hill Pinot Noir boasts a shimmering neon ruby core with a silvery rim. Wonderfully floral to start, with aromas of lavender and purple wildflowers taking center stage. The palate shows shades of dried herbs, bay leaves, and cured meat alongside wonderful fruit flavors of red cherry and boysenberry. Tannins are soft and plush and pair nicely with the lemony acidity on the finish. Only 144 cases made.
