A fun Cabernet Franc from Tranche that is red-fruit driven on the nose with secondary characteristics of jalapeno seed, shaved Hershey’s bar, orange blossoms and dusty country road. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied and sports ample acidity along with chalky tannins that still need a few years in bottle to integrate - or give it a nice long decant. I love what great winemakers are doing with Cabernet Franc in Washington and this is another winner. Should drink beautifully for another decade or so.
