Declassified wine from the Reynvaan Estate creates the lovely Merlot-dominant wine created for the Unnamed Series (Results of a Crush Winery - I know, it’s a tad confusing.) A left-bank Bordeaux blend of 42% Merlot, 38% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cabernet Franc that begins with some reductive notes on the nose, but quickly changes into aromas of black currant, red cherry, blueberry jam, and dried stuffing seasoning. Bringing medium acidity, medium body, and lovely sweet tannins, it flows over the palate effortlessly. This is not a wine that will age for decades, but it is a stunner that will compete with anything that costs $50 or more that is ready to drink now. About 280 cases produced and will be released spring of 2022. Best buy.
