#21 - Saint-Cosme Crozes-Hermitage 2009
The Saint-Cosme Crozes-Hermitage comes from four different terroirs located in Gervans and Larnage. These are known to be the best slopes of Crozes Hermitage. The 2009 offers loads of juicy black fruits, mocha and spices. Very ripe and fresh with nice mineral core. Well structured and racy, gaining momentum on the finish. The wine as aged for twelve months : 20% in new oak – 40% in one year old barrels – 40% in two years old barrels. With a release price of around $25 this wine really delivers.
