Pascual Toso dedicates their oldest vineyards and specific plots which express all the majesty of their terroir into making the Finca Pedregal Single Vineyard wine. The 2005 offers rich aromas of roasted plums, bramble berry and mission figs along with spices, loam, licorice and mint chocolate providing additional layers of complexity. On the palate this is ultra-smooth and polished, finishing up long and soft. Paul Hobbs, one of California's legendary winemakers has been consulting with Pascual Toso's chief winemaker, Rolando Luppino, on the development of premium and super-premium wines from Mendoza.
