CAKEBREAD CELLARS Cabernet Sauvignon, Dancing Bear Ranch 2010

The 2010 Cakebread Cellars ‘Dancing Bear Ranch’ is composed mainly of Cabernet Sauvignon with a touch of Cabernet Franc and Merlot which comes from the hillsides of Howell Mountain at elevations over 1,800 feet. It brings fantastic aromas of blackberry and plum fruits followed by fresh earth, graphite and spices with hints of forest floor and chocolate. This opulent wine is well balanced and structured gaining power and depth as it evolves in the glass. Dark fruits, chocolate, spice and herb notes make an appearance on the finish where they linger. Winemaker Julianne Laks aged the wine 19 months in French oak, however this will benefit with just a bit more time in bottle, but it will be hard to heep your hands off of it.
