HANZELL Chardonnay 'Sebella' Sonoma Coast 2012

The Chardonnay for the 'Sebella" Chardonnay is sourced from younger vines, not old enough to be included in the Hanzell Estate bottling. Hanzell refers to it as an "audition" and a "different interpretation." The wine itself displays lovely aromas of peach, tropical fruits, crushed almond, kiwi, green apple, baking spices and white flowers. There is an abundance of fresh fruit upfront and it transitions into a lively acidic finish. Drink it now or over the next 10 years. (Best 2014-2024) - March, 2014 (MD)
