The 2012 Syrah from Louis Cheze wonderful rustic Syrah with lots of old-world charm. It brings aromas of roasted plum, damp earth, spices, pepper, meat and smoke. The soft silky texture glides effortlessly into the spicy finish. This is an excellent peak into the fantastic 2012 Syrah’s from Loius Cheze. (Best 2015-2019) - March, 2014 (JD)
*Retasted - June, 2014: Overall very consistent notes; quality improved slightly after just a bit of time in bottle, resulting in a point increase from 89 to 90. However, would still reccommend allowing it a bit more time. - JD
