The 2009 Castelgiocondo Brunello di Montalcino brings lovely refined aromas of blackberries and sweet plum along with vanilla bean and spices which leap from the glass. It boasts a medium-full body that is well structured and balanced with velvety tannins that grip hold nicely on the finish. This is a Castelgiocondo that is approachable early on.
