This is one of four Pinot Noir's from Twomey range, but the only from Mendocino County. It delivers deep and complex aromas of dark cherry, clove, cinnamon, vanilla bean, hints of smoke and earthy notes. On the palate it has lots of red fruit and black tea components with good structure and balance. Needs time to develop but overall a solid effort. (Best 2015-2023) - May, 2014 (MD)
