The 2012 Villa Pomona Chianti Classico offers dark cherries, stewed plums, spices and earthy notes. Well balanced, leaning more towards the full side with a lovely fine, silky texture and nice length on the finish. Overall, a solid showing that should drink well over the next couple of years.
