This Pinot Noir is from the La Rinconada vineyard, which is located adjacent to Stanford & Benedict in the Sta. Rita Hills AVA. The soils are comprised of Sta. Lucia Shaly Clay Loam and the wine benefits from the cool air off the Pacific. The wine itself opens with aromas of plums, dark currants, earth and wild cherries. On the palate it possesses a beautiful mouth coating texture with lots or pomegranate and red berries flavors. Beautifully structured and focused through finish. All being said this gorgeous Pinot Noir with wonderful aging potential.
