The 2016 Domaine Tempier Rosé is absolutey gorgeous. The grapes used to make this rosé come from selected parcels where the vines are on average 20-years-old. Once in the glass the wine gently opens to aromatics of rose petals, orange zest, smoke and red cherry candy that are simply sensational. The palate shows a wonderful concentration and a silky, smooth mouthfeel. Red fruit flavors mingle nicely with lovely a touch of citrus rind toward the back end. Truly delightful to savor now, this beautiful Rosé will continue to evolve in the cellar over the next decade.
