The 2016 Bien Nacido Vineyard Pinot Noir opens with beautiful aromatics of fresh raspberries, strawberries, smoke, loam, exotic spice, tree bark and earth which all take shape. Medium-bodied and beautifully structured with silky, polished tannins. It continues to impress with its notable balance of fresh red fruits and earthy characteristics that carry on through the finish. Overall, this is an absolutely wonferful wine that shows early appeal as well as aging potential.
