The 2017 Etna Bianco is a sensational wine from Tenuta della Terre Nere, and may be the most impressive of this bottling which I can recall. This fantastic blend of predominately Carricante along with 20% Catarratto, 5% Grecanico, 5% Minnella bursts opens with inviting aromas of orchard fruits, sea salt, smoky minerals and blossoms which all take shape in the glass and continue to reflect on the palate. Balanced, focused and beautifully textured, this gorgeous Bianco should not be missed. An incredible value from one of the flagship estates in Etna.
