The 2015 'Katheryn Hall' Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from Sacrashe Vineyard, as well as other vineyards throughout the Napa Valley, and is an absolutely sensational showing in this vintage. It instantly begins to impress as the nose takes on a wonderful herbal edge with red bell pepper combined with profound layers of crème de cassis, espresso bean, sweet pipe tobacco and red cherry compote aromas that marvelously build in the glass. On the palate, you are immediately drawn to the silky texture of this marvelous wine. The seamless quality is remarkable, as it glides effortlessly through the mid-palate. Concentrated flavors of blueberry compote, blackberry pie, Turkish coffee and dark chocolate shavings all impress. While simply stunning now, this truly remarkable wine shows incredible promise for a long evolution ahead.
