The 2016 Hollister Pinot Noir from Tolosa comes from a vineyard site just 5 miles from the Pacific in the Edna Valley. As this begins to open it releases bright aromatics red cherries, ripe raspberries, red currant, blood orange, loam, forest floor and exotic spices all taking shape in the glass. This is a medium-full bodied Pinot Noir, with big red fruits, earthy flavors and orange rind that connect to a nice acidity and delicious finish. This should continue to drink well over the course of the next decade.
