This historic Napa vineyard was first farmed by the Varozza family since 1913. The Zinfandel shows an intriguing translucence and starts off with cigar ash, cranberry, cherry, coffee ground and wild blackberry pie aromatics. The purity of fruit is stunning, as is the seamless texture, as milk chocolate, crushed mint, black cherry cordial and roasted date flavors all impress. This stunning bottling is truly one of the best in California.
