The Old Kraft Vineyard is located in St. Helena and dates back to the 1860s. The 2016 Zinfandel begins with inviting aromas of red fruits with dill and sagebrush accents. I love the combination of richness, freshness and viscosity on the mid-palate. Red cherry preserves, cigar ash, bright red plum and citrus undertones all dazzle in the glass. This is another simply stunning wine by Robert Biale.
