The 2015 'Bossman' is an intense blend consisting of majority Syrah from cool climate sites, co-fermented, and/or later combined with Petite Sirah, Grenache and Viognier rounding it all out. Needing entended ait contact to fully express itself, the wine slowly unveils stunning aromatics of red cherries, rose petals, guava puree, coffee grounds and a touch of honeysuckle. The silky mouthfeel wonderfully coats the mid-palate, as it showcases a marvelous combination of red and dark fruits with a touch of chocolate covered espresso bean. Seductive, decadent and refined, this one of a kind bottling from winemaker Mattias Pippig is not to be missed.
