The 2015 Sanguis 'Wildflower' is an utterly compelling blend of Marsanne, Viognier and Roussanne that was aged for an extended period of time in oak puncheons. Showing a golden hue, this starts off with a bright bouquet of lemon blossom, apricot jelly, star jasmine, vanilla cream and toasted macadamia nut. The striking aromas continue to brings you back to the glass for more. On the palate the ripe, almost unctuous texture greets you. This displays wonderful weight and poise with flavor of lemon oil, kumquat, apricots and honeydew melon which all build up to the pretty finish. Overall, this sensational blend is absolutely outstanding and one of a kind.
