Sourced from the one-hectare A. Price Vineyard, which borders Spottswoode in St. Helena, and this Cabernet Sauvignon is yet another absolutely thrilling release from Patria in this vintage. It begins with striking aromatics of ripe blackberries and blueberries, which are joined together with spring florals, dried herbs, spices and fresh mineral nuances that all develop in the glass. On the palate this is just as captivating, as it possesses a gorgeous medium-plus to full body, with outstanding focus and concentration, as beautiful ripe dark fruits continue to build and persist on the long, polished finish. While the A. Price Vineyard Cabernet has a wonderful sense of early appeal, it is ultimately an age worthy wine that should evolve marvelously in the cellar for many years to come.
