The 2016 'Max’s' Cabernet Sauvignon displays a dark inky color, and begins with aromas of stewed dark fruit along with coffee accents which come together nicely in the glass. The palate is rich and jammy, but also shows a nice touch of underlying acidity, which provides some lift. Flavors of blackberry and cherry pie combine with blueberry compote and continue to linger on the finish. Fantastic now, but will also drink nicely with some additional bottle age.
