The fruit for the 2014 Barolo was sourced from vineyards primarily in Serralunga d'Alba and the remains from Castiglione Falletto. Fresh aromas of strawberries and red berries combine with eucalyptus, light spices and wet stones. On the palate this possesses a medium body with notable overall balance and finesse, which highlights this lovely Barolo from Azelia. While the 2014 is showing some early appeal, however readers may want to consider allowing it some additional bottle age.
