This fantastic Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from the 84-acre Edcora Vineyard in Atlas Peak and includes 6% Petit Verdot and 4% Cabernet Franc that spent 22 months in French oak barrels (85%new). It instantly opens to wonderfully perfumed aromatics of dark cherries and plums which are woven together with fresh cut flowers, loam, spices and hints of dusted cocoa nuances all taking shape in the glass. On the palate this is continues to impress with its gorgeous velvety texture and beautifully polished, nicely integrated tannins, which lead up to the seamless finish. This certainly has the potential to evolve for a decade or longer, however it is already quite appealing in its youth and will likely only require another year or two of bottle age before it hit its stride.
