The 2016 'Sandy’s' Pinot Noir is a limited production bottling from Melville that connects with estate Pinot Noir vines, which are set in sand. It aromatics reflect its terroir, as it begins with wonderful earthy tones which combine with bright red fruits and lifted citrus nuances. The weight, tension and salinity of the wine is tremendous, as flavors of bright strawberry, cranberry, guava and black tea flavors all continue to build and create a wonderful amalgamation. This is a simply stunning wine that will cellar well for a decade or more.
