The 2016 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Domaine Eddie Feraud is composed of 80% Grenache, 15% Mourvèdre along with 5% Clairette and Cinsault. It opens to pretty aromas of raspberries and cherries, which are woven together with spices, florals, pepper, herbs and wet stones that develop in the glass. Medium-bodied with velvety tannins and a long finish. Shows plenty of youthful appeal and should evolve nicely with a few years of cellaring.
