The 2017 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc from Clos de L'Oratoire is a blend of 30% Grenache Blanc, 30% Clairette, 30% Roussanne and 10% Bourbalenc. It begins with an expressive nose, offering aromas of sliced apple, ripe pear, fennel, hazelnut, along with hints of tropical fruits and flowers. A beautiful round texture with layers of fruit balanced with flavors of toasted hazelnut and honey. This is fantastic today and will evolve over the next decade.
