Composed of predominantly Grenache with a touch of Mourvèdre from vines between 70-100 years-old, planted sand and gravel soils. The wine spent 30 months in tank, then six months in bottle before release. The end result is a sensational wine which beings with aromas of dark cherries, black raspberries, herbs, smoke and a dash of pepper. On the palate this is medium-bodied with a gorgeous velvety texture and notable concentration. It continues to impress with its remarkable overall balance and finesse all the way through the finish. Overall, this is a simply gorgeous wine which has to potential to evolve gracefully for years to come, be sure to allow it some time.
