The 2016 Domaine de la Janasse Châteauneuf-du-Pape Tradition is a lovely showing which beings with aromas of dark cherries and raspberries which come together with exotic spices, forest floor, lavender and hints of black olives and white pepper rounding our the nose. On the palate this possesses a gorgeous rich, velvety texture with a ripe fruit at its core that expands beautifully. Shows notable concentration and balance with a wonderful elegant character throughout. This is already quite enjoyable in its youth, however readers who allow this some additional bottle age will certainly not be disappointed.
