The 2016 La Croix Saint Christophe opens to aromas of dark cherries and blueberries woven together with spices and cigar box that all come together in the glass. This medium-plus bodied red impresses with its lovely polished frame and nice overall balance and concentration throughout. This should offer a moderate drinking window which could span a decade, however it will be a wonderful wine to approach this in its youth.
