The 2021 Domaine de la Cote 'Sous le Chêne' is a blockbuster wine in 2021. One of their top bottlings, this Pinot Noir has a beautiful bouquet of wild strawberries, ripe black cherry fruit with rose, black pepper, earth, saline, cured meat, and hints of citrus and dark chocolate. On the palate this is pure elegance and balance. There is a perfect combination of supple ripe fruits, earth, and acidity on the backend. This is layered with flavor that mirrors the aromatics. An absolutely outstanding wine that will continue to gain complexity over the next 10-15 years or more.
