The 2021 Harbison Vineyard Cabernet from AxR is phenomenal. It begins with incredibly perfumed aromatics of ripe blackberries, blueberries and boysenberries, which are joined together with warm spices, graphite, fresh sage, floral and licorice nuances that all explode from the glass. On the palate this is full-bodied with a gorgeous round, voluptuous texture supported by big polished tannins that provide excellent structure. It continues to impress with its remarkable overall depth and concentration as beautiful ripe dark fruits continue to build resulting in stunning length on the finish. While this is already completely captivating in its youth, it also has the stuff to age gracefully for decades to come. The 2019 is total knockout and one of the must haves from AXR in this vintage.
