The 2010 Col d’Orcia Brunello di Montalcino is a lovely showing that offers wonderful aromas of sweet red berries and plums which are mixed together with spices, juniper, citrus peel and freshly cut floral. This is medium to full-bodied Brunello is structured around fine tannins that are beautifully integrated into the silky texture which carries on through the pretty finish. Although this is already quite accessible, it will only get better with some additional bottle age. (Best 2016-2026) - March, 2015 (JD)
