The 2012 Château Haut-Montil is composed of 86% Merlot and 14% Cabernet Franc. It offers aromas and flavors of dark cherries and blackberries, followed by spices, licorice and toast. The medium to full body is nicely balanced with a firm structure and notable length. Allow this another year or so of bottle age to further develop before it will be at its best.
