The 2010 'Riva del Bric’ is a an outstanding wine, sourced from the Ginestra Vineyard, which is one of the finest cru’s in all of Barolo. As this opens up in the glass, it delivers bold aromas black cherries and red berries along with eucalyptus, floral, licorice, minerals, spices and rounded out by a peppery character. On the palate this is beautifully textured with wonderful balance through the long, grippy finish. Although this is already showing some appealing characteristics, it will certainly benefit if allowed a few more years to evolve. (Best 2017-2026) - June, 2015 (JD)
