The Massican Sauvignon is a fantastic showing in 2014. The fruit comes from the Juliana Vineyard, located in one of Napa's warmest microclimates. It delivers complex aromas of white peach, guava, grapefruit, Asian pear, orange blossom, followed by hints of smoke, hazelnut, and slate. A gorgeous, textured Sauvignon, that stands out for its exceptional balance, finesse and tightly wound core. The finish is explosive with lots of pure fruit and balanced out by its vibrant acidity and minerality. This is a Sauvignon that is showing well now with air, but will peak in another year or so.
