An east going Montepulciano, offering a nice mix of blackberries and cherries followed by damp earth, tobacco, spices and a touch of roasted herbs. On the palate this is plush with a nice balance of ripe fruit and acidity. Finish is round and velvety leaving behind dark fruits and spices. A lovely Montepulciano to be consumed in the short term. Excellent Value. (Best 2015-2017) - August, 2015 (JD)
