POTT WINES Cabernet Sauvignon 'Kaliholmanok' 2012

A gorgeous Cabernet from the Kicu'me Vineyard in Spring Mountian. The Kaliholmanok, which is a Wappo Native American word meaning naked woods people friendly, delivers wonderul aromas of black cherries and blackberries woven together with sweet spices and violets. It possesses a layered, voluptuous texture and continues to dose out loads of dark fruits through the long, velvety finish. Very appealing today, but should only get better as it evolves over the next decade. (Best 2017-2030) - October, 2015 (JD)
