The 2011 Seven Springs Vineyard 'La Source' Pinot Noir saw 30% new French oak for 16 months and has a wonderful Burgundian character. This wine begins with aromas reminiscent of smoke, mushroom, red cherry and cardamom. This leads to flavors of red cherry, raspberry and oak alongisde lovely minerality. This has nice depth for the vintage. It is an elegant and classy effort which should drink well for years to come. (Best 2015-2027) - November, 2015 (OB)
