The 2013 Oberhäuser Brücke Spätlese is an absolutely sublime, age-worthy Riesling from Dönnhoff. Today this elegant wine displays a youthful bright and vibrant character, focused around pretty aromas and flavors of lime, white peach, ginseng, white floral and stony minerality. On the palate this is electric, slightly off-dry, with a gorgeous texture and incredible overall balance and focus. The finish is simply delightful and leaves you salivating. Although this can be enjoyed while in its youth, it is a wine made to cellar and will age gracefully for many years to come. (Best 2016-2035) - December, 2015 (JD)
