This beautiful wine comes from vineyards in the southwest and southeast portions of the hill of Corton. The wine was aged 10 months in new French oak (medium toast) prior to bottling. The seamless bottling begins with aromas of gala apple, nutmeg and roasted hazelnut. This leads to flavors of creme brûlée, poached pear, Meyer lemon rind and whipped butter. Absolutely gorgeous wine that will improve with some bottle age, so try not to touch this for a few years. The finish is rich and compelling as the vanilla cream flavors lift from the palate. A memorable wine for the cellar. (Best 2019-2030) - January, 2015 (OB)
