The 2011 Uccelleira Brunello di Montalcino is an outstanding showing, impressive for its remarkable purity and precision. This instantly opens with aromas of ripe strawberries and red berries woven together with floral, leather, licorice, spices and some balsamic undertones all coming together in the glass. A beautifully made wine with remarkable finesse and balance with an inner-sweetness lasting all the way through long, silky finish.
