Sourced from the Armada vineyard, this Grenache was cropped at a mere 1.5 tons per acre. This represents one of the most memorable wines that I have tasted in the past year. The expressive Grenache opens with bright and intense aromas of red cherry, red raspberry, lavender and blood orange with hints of wet gravel. It continues to impress on the palate with flavors of crushed wet rocks, red cherries, red raspberries and sea salt which saturate the palate. Words make it nearly impossible to express the level of complexity and intensity to the wine. (Best 2016-2028) - March, 2016 (OB)
