DONUM Pinot Noir, Anderson Valley 2013

The 2014 Donum Anderson Valley Pinot Noir comes from Dijon 115,777 & 667; Martini, David Bruce and Swan from the Angel Camp Vineyard. It instantly dazzles with wonderful aromas of black raspberries, plum and wild forest berries which come together with exotic spices, crushed floral, white pepper and a sweet birch character. This continues to impress on the palate with remarkable balance, finesse and a gorgeous round, velvety texture that carries over beautifully onto the opulent finish. Today this is already showing so much character and should continue to transform and evolve with a few more years in bottle. (Best 2017-2026) - April, 2016 (JD)
