This exceptional wine is a blend of the estate's oldest vines of 30% Garnacha and 30% Cariñena as well as 20% Merlot, 10% Cabernet and 10% Syrah. This inky colored wine starts with rich aromas of black cherry, black olive, anise, sagebrush and suggestions of cassis. There are flavors of cassis, milk chocolate, sage, and blackberry jam with accents of tar. Balanced and rich, this is a decadent treat that is drinking in its sweet spot. Buil & Gine have really captured the art of blending here with this late release Priorat. (Best 2016-2030) - May, 2016 (OB)
