The 2014 'La Devèze' is composed of Grenache, Syrah, Carignan and Cinsault and offers aromas and flavors of fresh crushed raspberries, black olive, pepper, lavender and wild herbs. On the palate this is well balanced, backed by a lovely silky texture, which leads into finish where raspberries, white pepper and lavender continue to linger. This will be best if allowed another year or so of additional bottle age to flesh out and all come together. (Best 2017-2021) - June, 2016 (JD)
